Ditmas Lit was founded in 2016 by writers Sarah Bridgins and Rachel Lyon.
Ditmas Lit is a monthly reading series dedicated to giving a platform to new, emerging, and established New York writers, as well as offering a fun, recurring social space for the residents of Ditmas Park and its surrounding areas.
Hosted by Sarah Bridgins and Lena Valencia, Ditmas Lit is a monthly reading series in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn, dedicated to showcasing a diverse range of emerging and established writers in all genres. On the fourth Wednesday of every month, we gather at The Urbane Arts Club at 8PM to listen as poets, essayists, fiction writers, and storytellers share their work.
